Visible, accessible & professional

Basic First Responders
This level of care can be used for events with an estimated low risk as determined in the LHGAP. All basic first aiders have a certificate in accordance with the Orange Cross or other similar trainers.

Events First Aid
This level of care is used for events with a medium to high risk determined in the LHGAP and the event care field standard. This level of care is characterized by an extensive connection to the regular care chain and additional competencies in the field of methodical action, cooperation and communication.

Basic Care Nurse
This level of care is characterized by the deployment of non-specialized nurses to supplement the Basic First Aid, Event First Aid level or to support the Emergency Care, Physician Care or Specialist Emergency Care (Advanced Life Support) level. The nurse has a supporting role towards healthcare professionals and also has a role in prioritizing care. This level also includes the BMH operative care, the doctor’s assistant, the nursing IG and the ambulance driver.

Emergency Care Nurse
This level of care is characterized by the commitment of healthcare professionals who work in acute somatic care. The basic principle is that they initiate emergency care in anticipation of takeover by regional ambulance care or by the specialist emergency care level. Care within this level takes place under the responsibility of an expert physician present or through a protocol under the responsibility of an MME.

Nurse Specialist Emergency Care
This level of care is characterized by the deployment of healthcare professionals who are functionally independent or independently authorized to provide care at least at the level of the current National Ambulance Care Protocol. Deployment of these healthcare professionals falls under the responsibility of a Medical Manager and is necessary if a threat to vital functions or serious injury is expected based on the risk profile.

Basic / Specialist emergency care doctor
Doctors can play an important role at events when it comes to providing care that is tailored to specific care needs or circumstances. Not all physician care at events is necessarily at the level of Specialist Emergency Care. The specific expertise of general practitioners, sports doctors and other specialists, for example, can provide added value to an event as a tailor-made solution.
